微软将在4月12日于旧金山举办发布会，虽然发送的媒体邀请函上没有透露内容，但是关于已经有内部人士透露，微软将在当天发布两款自主品牌Project Pink手机。然而根据来自多方的消息，除了Pink之外，4月12日对于多款微软产品来说都将是重要的一天，比如Visual Studio、Office 2010以及Zune HD。

据内部人士透露，微软将在4月12日发布的两款Pink手机分别为Pure和Turner，采用滑盖设计，运行Windows CE，Turtle的屏幕分辨率为320X240，Pure的屏幕分辨率为480X320，与iPhone相同。预计，Pure和Turtle在正式发布后的几周内就会上市，目前价格还不清楚。

4月12日，Visual Studio 2010将在全球发布。除了美国拉斯维加斯之外，微软会在4月12日在我国北京、英国伦敦、印度班加罗尔、马来西亚吉隆坡举办首发展会，微软北京的发布会主题定为“CODING完美世界”。

Visual Studio 2010增添了诸多新特性和功能，微软大中华区开发工具及平台事业部总经理谢恩伟总结了Visual Studio 2010的五大特性：支持云计算架构；Agile/Scrum开发方法；搭配Windows 7与Silverlight 4；发挥多核并行运算威力；更好支持C++。

— 64GB版本Zune HD

昨日微软发布了Zune 4.5固件升级，有消息称64GB版本Zune HD将在4月12日正式推出，不过除了增大了容量之外，新版本和现有的16GB、32GB版本Zune HD没有区别。

— Office 2010 RTM

微软已经宣布，Office 2010技术测试项目将在4月30日关闭，而根据几周前公布的Office 2010路线图，Office 2010、SharePoint 2010、Visio 2010和Project 2010将在4月完成RTM版本，并提供给原始设备制造商。企业用户则可以从5月12日开始获得Office 2010，对于普通消费者，Office 2010将在6月同时以在线和零售方式上市。

消息称Office 2010和SharePoint 2010的RTM版都将在4月12日完成，正式版将在6月15日上市。

不仅是微软选择在4月12日发布新产品，Adobe也选定了当天发布自己的下一代产品Creative Suite 5（CS5），EDT时间4月12日上午11点Adobe将举办全球在线产品发布会，届时CS5的所有组件都会一一登场。

据国外媒体报道，美国新泽西州普林斯顿大学的研究者利用“随机共振”方法来形成图像，可以显示出隐藏 物体图像。这项技术可用于指导飞行员雾中飞行以及医生不用手术就可以非常准确的观察人体病变部位。该项研究结果已经于3月14日发表在《自然光子学》电子版上。文中称，美国新泽西州普林斯顿大学的研究者弗莱舍（ Fleischer）和德米特里• 戴洛夫（Dmitry Dylov）首先让激光束穿过刻有数字和线条的小块玻璃，这些数字和线条图案类似检查视力的视力表。激光束将数字和线条图像传输到已经连接到显示器的接收 器上。
